Okay, I’ve found where to be a guest blogger. Now what?
You’ve made it through the quick and easy part and now you have to pitch yourself to the owner of the blog. Get started with guest blogging by asking yourself this series of questions:
- What is the content of the blog? What skill level are the readers, etc?
- How do they write? Is it tutorials or long informative posts?
- Have you read their posting guidelines?
Answer these questions. Then, it’s time to start submitting posts.
There is a good chance that the first few posts won’t be accepted by the blog owner. Not everyone has the same tastes in content. Keep working at it because the rewards are great once you’ve been published and really start pushing out new content.
